Precious is the flow.

Tonight's worship was one of the most incredible things I've ever experienced. It was simple, but so so perfect. We're going through a book called Radical by David Platt and we've been meeting in a little room in the back of our youth building instead of our usual big meeting room. Troy took out the couches, pillows and lights. There is literally one light bulb hanging from the middle of the ceiling. And, instead of our usual band, we've had one person playing the guitar. No band. No projectors. Just us and God. It was incredible. We sang several older worship songs, which I loved. One of them was "Nothing but the blood of Jesus"... "Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, NOTHING but the blood of Jesus." John 4:24 says "Those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth." and Troy challenged us that worship should be about our love for Christ regardless of the band or special effects. All that said, I'm obsessed with the light bulb at my church. YAY MBCC. :)
